Our Mission

Established in 2013, Fusion is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to develop, engage and educate future leaders, encourage civic involvement and contribute positively in the communities we serve. Fusion acts as a connecting point in the Lakes Region in which individuals come together to cultivate and contribute to building a dynamic and evolving community.

How We Began

It all began in 2009 with Governor Lynch’s Task Force for the recruitment and retention of a young workforce for New Hampshire. The initiative became known as Stay Work Play and their mission was to keep young people within the Granite State and to educate them on the numerous opportunities available to them. With its growth, came the development of additional networks throughout the State.

Kara LaSalle and Corey Hoyt, Fusion president and vice president, invite HR professionals, recruiters and hiring managers seeking to attract, develop and retain their workforce through community engagement to an informational session on Wednesday, December 14 at 5:30pm. Business owners coaching aspiring leaders are also encouraged to attend. This informational session will be an open forum to learn about the purpose of Fusion in the community, our interactions statewide, how committee members and Fusion members can get involved and how the group impacts the Lakes Region.
